WE'RE MARRIED!!!! Kevin and I met four years through a mutual friend. While we hit it off initially, we didn't start dating right away - he blames it on the fact that we lived in different cities at the time. We lost touch for a few months and started emailing again when I left the country for a year to do a volunteer program in Costa Rica! We started emailing again right around the time I left the US and stayed in touch the whole year, gradually establishing ourselves as a couple, even despite the long distance. |

Kevin proposed at the exact same spot where we had initially met. It was really touching and sweet. |

We got married in New York City. My family is originally from right outside of the City and we wanted a fun place for everyone to reunite and celebrate our special day. We had the Rehearsal Dinner at Panorama Cafe on 85th and 2nd; Ceremony at Holy Trinity Cathedral on 74th and 2nd; and Reception at The Roosevelt Hotel on 45th and Madison. I wore a gown by Christos - Alecon lace top and A-line skirt. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one! My bridesmaids wore Flamingo Pink Jenny Yoo dresses and the boys wore basic black tuxedos with a black bowtie. Everyone looked amazing! |

Get personal recs for EVERYTHING! I went and had a hair trial at a salon just because it was located near the hotel and hated the results. Don't waste your time and money by going to unrecommended vendors. After I return from my honeymoon, I will be posting reviews on all my vendors! Stay tuned!!! |
